Why We Built This Site
Ohio does not have one statewide public docket search that replaces Pike County's local systems. Common Pleas General and Domestic Relations records use the Clerk of Courts and CourtView gateway. Pike County Court uses its own Record Search for criminal, traffic, civil, small claims, and parking cases. Probate and Juvenile maintain separate offices and public-access rules, and mayor's-court matters can have their own local channel. The purpose here is to make that routing easier to understand without treating distinct clerk systems as one database.

The Pike County Clerk of Courts and the relevant court division remain the official custodians. A public search result is a locator, while an authenticated copy comes from the court or clerk that keeps the file.
